・Two three-axis isotropic probes were mounted in the radome on the roof of the car.
・The E-fields was measured by a spectrum analyzer with GPS data installed in the car.
Conditions
・The measurement route was chosen mainly on national roads except for highways and covered all municipalities. The average driving speed at the time of measurement was approximately 20 km/h.
・Measurements were taken automatically at approximately 5-second intervals while driving and when the car was stopped, the measurement was also stopped.
Post processing
・The square root of the sum of the squares of the E-field measured in each band was calculated.
・The E-field strength below the predetermined threshold (noise floor) was excluded when integrating within the band.
・After that, E-fields of each band were averaged in Basic Grid Square※1
※1 Basic Grid Square: Basic Grid Square provided by the Japanese government to divide the measurement area into a 1 km2 mesh. (more...)
